Registered Associate MFT #140623

Hi, I’m Cass. I’m a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT #140623), former Certified Substance Use Counselor (CADC), and a therapist trained in Level 1 Internal Family Systems (IFS).

I work with women who carry a lot—often women in caregiving, helping, and high-responsibility roles who are used to holding everything together for everyone else, but may feel anxious, stretched thin, burned out, or stuck in patterns they’re ready to understand and shift.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable women who don’t necessarily look like they’re struggling from the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed by over-responsibility, people-pleasing, self-abandonment, perfectionism, or the invisible mental load they’ve been carrying for a long time.

I love helping clients slow down enough to understand what’s driving those patterns, relate to themselves with more compassion, and experiment with showing up differently—in relationships, at work, in motherhood, and with themselves.

My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is central to how I work, along with attachment and psychodynamic perspectives, but I’m practical too. I like therapy to have both depth and movement, and I tend to work actively with clients toward insight that translates into real change.

I often support clients around:
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Boundaries and relationship patterns
• Burnout, perfectionism, and over-functioning
• Motherhood and identity shifts
• The impact of addiction or compulsive behaviors on partners and family members
• Women in leadership, helping, and caregiving roles who want more balance, clarity, and self-trust

My background includes private practice, crisis intervention, recovery work, and community mental health, all of which shape how I understand people and the systems they move through. While much of my practice focuses on women’s individual therapy, I also work with families and remain passionate about relational healing.

If this resonates and you’re looking for therapy that offers both depth and practical movement, I’d love to connect.
