Whatever has led you to seek support, from feeling stuck in painful patterns to having the same conversations with your partner that seem to go nowhere or sensing that something needs to change, I offer a safe, collaborative, and authentic space to work towards change at your pace. I bring warmth and authenticity to the therapeutic relationship in order to attune to your emotions and understand your lived experience without the risk of judgment or shame. Through a trusting, co-created therapeutic alliance, we work toward healing emotional pain by making sense of your experiences and allowing new ways of relating to emerge.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on understanding our inner parts and how they shape our emotions, behaviors, and relationships. My integrative approach draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and attachment-based theories to help you better understand your parts and why they show up the way they do in your life. I hold a deep belief in each person’s inherent goodness and their capacity to reconnect with their core Self. Together, in a relationship grounded in trust and emotional safety, we make space for meaningful questions that support insight, integration, and growth.
In my work with couples, I integrate systems, psychodynamic, and behavioral perspectives. I view relationship distress not as a failure, but as an understandable response to unmet attachment needs, emotional injuries, and protective patterns that develop over time. Together, we will identify the cycles that keep you stuck, slow down reactive interactions, and strengthen each partner’s ability to remain emotionally present and responsive. This process supports a shift from defensiveness and reactivity toward empathy, accountability, and repair.
I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University, where I studied under Tatra de la Rosa and other talented clinicians. I have worked with adults, children, adolescents, groups, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and identities. Most recently, I served as a primary therapist in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, providing individual and family therapy to adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use concerns.
